The Beauty of Impermanence in Life's Magical Moments

The beauty of impermanence in life's magical moments may not always feel beautiful or magical. The memories and experiences that make up my essence tend to change as time passes by. Moments that at one time that offered pain transformed into strength, fear into growth, dissension to reconciliation. Impermanence sounds like a word that evokes anxiety and insecurity. I have found that perhaps in moments of confusion or hurt, impermanence can feel negative. The beauty is that with every negative there is a positive.

Focusing on the positivity reminds me that life is fleeting and I should savor it, knowing I have learned, loved and expanded my experiences enough for them to become memorable moments. In time, I have savored them because they can never be held the same way again. The transience of life and happiness are ever changing. In accepting change, I find deeper appreciation for the present as well as the past. I find myself opening up to ideas at the same time of letting go of old ones that have kept me in a holding pattern or even a growth deficit.

I feel as if looking back, the pain of my past continually subsides to a beautiful memory, I appreciate impermanence as not just an ending but an invitation for a future I never saw possible. By embracing the nature of magical moments, I can free myself from holding onto to negativity and celebrate the gifts that God gave me from my experiences. To be grateful and always be reminded that every sunset becomes a sunrise. Tests become testaments, goodbye's become hellos.

In this way impermanence becomes a gentle teacher, showing me that nothing stays the same, and that is what makes life so vibrantly alive.
